The Municipality of Meaford is calling on residents to help recognize the outstanding volunteers who make our community a better place. Voting is now open for the 2025 Community Builder Award, which honours individuals who have positively shaped and promoted the Municipality of Meaford through their volunteer efforts.
The Community Builder Award is presented annually to a local volunteer who has demonstrated dedication, leadership, and commitment to improving the community. The award recipient is selected by Council and will be officially recognized at the Volunteer Appreciation Event on Monday, April 28 from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.
How to Vote:
Residents can fill out the nomination form by April 4, by visiting meaford.ca/communitybuilder or by picking up a physical copy at the Municipal Office located at 21 Trowbridge Street West.
All nominations will be reviewed by the Municipality of Meaford Council during a closed session. If no nominations are received or deemed appropriate, Council may elect not to present the award that year or may select a recipient at their discretion. Identifiable information about nominees will remain confidential, and only the award recipient’s name will be publicly announced.
