SweetWater Music Festival Announces Spring Events

SweetWater Music Festival has unveiled its spring events for 2024. Building on its legacy of delivering exceptional musical experiences, SweetWater promises a series of captivating performances that will inspire, entertain, and uplift audiences.

Education Concerts: Delve deeper into the world of music with interactive workshops and masterclasses led by acclaimed musicians. Whether you’re a seasoned musician or a curious beginner, these educational sessions offer valuable insights and inspiration. These concerts will take place on Wednesday, May 8 at 10 a.m. at Meaford Hall and on Thursday, May 9 at 10 a.m. at the Harmony Centre in Owen Sound. Schools and other groups, welcome. These are free events.

The Springtime LIVE Concert will feature JUNO award-winning pianist Philip Chiu, cellist Cameron Crozman, and violinist Edwin Huizinga. They will be performing works by Ravel, Alexina Louie and more, followed by Mendelssohn’s Piano Trio No. 2. This concert will take place at the Historic Leith Church at 7 p.m. on Friday, May 10. Tickets are $40.
