The United Way Bruce-Grey has announced that they will be hosting the Coldest Night of the Year Walk in Grey Highlands, Meaford, Saugeen Shores, and Kincardine on February 24.
This event, which is hosted in over 170 cities across Canada, aims to raise funds to support those experiencing hunger, homelessness, and hurt in our community. This is the first year that Grey Highlands and Meaford will be hosting the walk, while Saugeen Shores and Kincardine will be hosting it for the second year.
“The Coldest Night of the Year Walk is an amazing event that not only raises crucial funds but also raises awareness about the challenges faced by vulnerable individuals and families in our community,” said Kristy Andre, Fundraising Champion from Untied Way Bruce Grey. “We are excited to expand our reach this year by introducing walks in Grey Highlands and Meaford, and we are grateful for the continued support from Saugeen Shores and Kincardine. You can make a significant difference in the lives of those experiencing hardship locally by joining us.”
