Becky passed away peacefully at the Meaford Long Term Care Centre with family by her side on Easter Sunday, April 9, 2023, at the age of 73.
Born in Belleville on Easter Sunday, April 17, 1949, Becky was a daughter of Marion (nee Brown) Rodberg and the late Bill Rodberg.
Becky was the much-loved mother of Laura Watson-Dam (Sharon) and Dawn Johnson (Bob), mother-in-law of Jennifer Zehr (Kevin), and was predeceased by her son Craig Watson.
She was the proud Gramma of Kurtis (Michelle), Mitch, Kelly (Keegan), Emily (Alec), Rachel, Abbie (Micaiah), and Great Gramma of Aubrie, Paisley, Maxton and Maverick.
She was the dear sister of Ruth McNabb (Brooke) and was predeceased by her sister Gini Larson. She will be remembered fondly by her brother-in-law Harold Larson (Pauline).
Becky was a wonderful storyteller and loved to share stories of her children and grandchildren with family and friends. Music brought Becky great joy and she had a strong faith; she was comforted knowing that she would soon be reunited with her loved ones who have passed before her. Her family truly appreciated the wonderful care that Becky received at Riverside Lane – Meaford Long Term Care Centre during a challenging time in her life.
Family will receive friends to Celebrate Becky’s Life at the Cook Street Pentecostal Church in Meaford on Friday, April 14, 2023, from 1 until 4 p.m., with tributes shared at 2 o’clock. All are invited to join for a time of fellowship and refreshment. A private graveside interment will be conducted at Lakeview cemetery in Meaford.
