Public participation is needed for the Meaford Hall Strategic Plan Focus Group Meeting, which takes place at Meaford Hall on February 16, from 7 – 8:30 p.m. The meeting will be exploring the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats (SWOT analysis) facing Meaford Hall as staff develop an actionable plan for the next five years.
“Having input from the community is critical to ensure the Strategic Plan aligns with the wants and needs of the community,” said Susan Lake, Manager of Cultural Services. “The focus group sessions will provide fresh perspectives from stakeholders about Meaford Hall’s future growth.”
The Meaford Hall Arts and Cultural Centre Strategic Plan for 2022-2027, once finalized and adopted by Council, will be used as the guiding document that outlines an action plan for future programming, marketing, customer service, facility uses, and more.
By participating in the Strategic Plan, the Meaford Hall Arts and Cultural Centre can continue its strong tradition within the community. Advance registration for the focus group meeting will be required due to COVID-19 capacity restrictions.
A public survey, which was launched in late January 2022, has garnered more than 300 responses to date. It will be available until February 25. For those that prefer, hard copies of the survey are available at Meaford Hall, Meaford Public Library, and the Municipal Administration Office, located at 21 Trowbridge Street West. You can drop off your completed survey at these locations as well. Please visit the Meaford Hall website (http://www.meaford.ca/meafordhallstrategicplan) for more information on the survey, focus groups dates, and more.
