Beginning Thursday, February 10, the Grey Bruce Health Service (GBHS) is permitting two visitors per in-patient at all GBHS hospitals. Out-patients attending most types of appointments must still come alone due to space limitations, unless a support person is essential.
All visitors are still required to wear a mask and show government issued photo identification and proof of full COVID-19 vaccination (2 doses) upon entering any GBHS facility.
“GBHS recognizes the importance of visitors to the emotional and physical well-being of patients, and we look forward to welcoming visitors into our facilities again. The visitor policy will continue to evolve based on the presence of COVID-19 in our communities,” said the GBHS.
The chart below applies to all six GBHS Hospitals – Lion’s Head, Markdale, Meaford, Owen Sound, Southampton and Wiarton.
