Meaford on the Move: Keeping Kids Active

For families looking for ways to keep their children active during the school year, here are some ideas:

  • Meaford Youth Co-Ed Hockey is back this fall. Mondays October 24 – March 14 (18 weeks). 5 – 6 p.m. or 6 – 7 p.m. Ages 6-12. $235. Registration https://www.meaford.ca/en/explore-play/program-registration.aspx

  • Hope Haven (Markdale area) offers adaptive riding programs as well as therapy programs for individuals of all ages who may have physical, cognitive, emotional and/or social challenges. https://www.hopehavencentre.org/
  • The Meaford Library lends out snowshoes, pickleball sets, and fishing poles.
