On Wednesday, July 16, at approximately 11:05 a.m., Grey County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) received a report of a break-in, and theft, from a residence located on Hwy. 26 in the Municipality of Meaford.
The victim reported that sometime over night, while the family was asleep, unknown person(s) entered the residence. An undisclosed amount of cash from a purse and a man’s wallet was taken, as well as an iPad and a cell phone. There was no sign of forced entry.
Police continue to investigate.
