On Wednesday, June 3, 2015 at approximately 1:00 p.m., Grey County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) stopped the driver of a 1993 Yamaha motorcycle for speeding 176 km/hr in a posted 80 km/hr zone southbound on Hwy. 10 in the Township of Chatsworth.
The 38 year old Meaford man was issued a Summons to appear in court on June 22, 2015 for racing a motor vehicle – excessive speed contrary to the Highway Traffic Act (HTA).
The motorcycle was impounded and his driver’s licence was suspended for seven days.
