Obituary
Passed away peacefully surrounded by the love of her family at the Meaford Long Term Care Centre on Tuesday afternoon, June 30, 2020, at the age of 92 years.
Devoted and loving mother of Mac (Laurie), Lynda, Barb/Sparrow, Donel, Tom (Lynn), Brent (Sharon) and Bev. Proud grandmother of Vince (Kiersti), Jay (Jenna), Damon (Heather), Ryan (Ladina), Nathan (Becca), Mat, Josh, Kass (Josh), Bradey (Tennile), Evan (Whitney), John (Donna), Paige (Chris), Tristin (Keenan), as well as twenty loving and beautiful great-grandchildren. Fondly remembered by her brother Bill (Sandra) McCauley, brother-in-law Carl Ramage, sister-in-law Isabel Goudy, and many more relatives and friends. Predeceased by her husband Glen in 1993 and her sister Chris in 2011.
Willda loved gardening, arranging flowers and designing personalized cards to her family and friends for special occasions (birthdays, weddings, etc.) She was a genuinely kind and loving mother, grandma, great-grandma, sister, and friend. She was quite spiritual and loved to read and write spiritual quotes and verses. She even created several original verses of her own.
We have been blessed to have her in our lives. With her love and kindness she has touched hearts in so many ways. Her family was the joy of her life!!!! She will be remembered and in our hearts forever!!!!!
A family remembrance is being planned for later this month. Cremation has taken place and interment will be at Lakeview Cemetery, Meaford. Thank you so much to Dr. Klages, the nurses and all the exceptional staff at Meaford LTCC for their kindness and caring efforts. Also the countless wonderful volunteers who helped with Mom’s care.
