Leaf and Yard Waste Depot Re-Opening May 7

The Municipality of Meaford’s Leaf and Yard Waste Depot will re-open starting Thursday, May 7.

Measures have been put in place to allow for the safe drop-off of leaf and yard waste during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Three vehicles at one time will be allowed within the drop-off area. All vehicles will need to stop at the Leaf and Yard Waste building so that on-site staff may record resident information, confirm items to be disposed, manage site safety, and provide further direction before continuing to drop off waste.

Yard waste drop-off is free for residents living within the Municipality of Meaford.

During the month of May, the Municipality has added Thursday as an additional leaf and yard waste drop-off day to assist with the COVID-19 protocol. The municipality will monitor drop-off times to determine when leaf and yard waste will return to the regular scheduled Friday and Saturday drop-off days.

Location: 157859 7th Line, Meaford
Date and Times: Thursday 12 p.m. – 5 p.m. for the month of May
Fridays 12 p.m. – 5 p.m. May to mid-November (weather permitting)
