World Snow Day – Free to Ski at Bruce Ski ClubThe Bruce Ski Club plans on hosting a World Snow Day Free to Ski event on January 19th, 2020. 

The club will open up their ski and snowshoe trails at the club’s Sawmill Nordic Centre with free access to everyone (members and non-members) from noon to 4:00 p.m. on January 19th. (Non-members will be required to sign a waiver before taking part.) Bring your families to try the trails, 1 km. east of Hepworth. 

Guides will be available to show you around. After the activities, warm up by the bonfire. 

Sawmill Nordic Centre offers 11 km. of both classic and skate ski trails. There are also 5 km. of marked snowshoe trails. The ski and snowshoe trails are marked as easy, moderate or difficult for all levels of users. The trailhead and parking lot for the Sawmill Nordic Centre are located on Highway 6 between Shallow Lake and Hepworth, Ontario (44.628624° -81.115545°).
