Residents of the Long Term Care Centre are pictured above enjoying the Gazebo and Gardens provided by the Auxiliary. President Betty Porter spoke of the many enhancements that have been added for the residents’ benefit over the years. WiFi, new decor, and electronics, for example, as well as support for the Activation Department including music, outings, and the popular hand waxing program.
“Our fundraising includes giving receipts for donations, and this year we will be having a raffle for a night’s accommodation at Cranberry Inn, Collingwood, and an Aqua Path Experience for two at the Resort’s Living Shore Spa,” said the Auxiliary.
Tickets will be sold at Bill’s Valumart on Saturday, September 2, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., as well as at the Long Term Care Centre’s reception desk or from an Auxiliary member. The draw will be held on November 1.
