Everyone is getting their swing ready for the exciting start of the golf season. The sun is shining, the grass is growing and the birds are nesting.
One of the difficult relationships on a course is that of the geese and the golfers. Of course it is best if the geese are discouraged from nesting on or around the courses and there are several different ways of doing this. Some are definitely more humane than others.
Please be a good environmental citizen and ask your golf course how they are managing this challenge before signing on for the season. We do have many beautiful courses in our area to choose from.
