The Owen Sound Attack will once again be supporting the Canadian Cancer Society’s Pink in the Rink by being Celebrity Servers at Boston Pizza in Owen Sound on Wednesday, October 15th from 6-8 PM.
Boston Pizza will be donating 10 percent of all food sales back to the Canadian Cancer Society’s local Bluewater Community Office.
Fans are encouraged to come out and meet members of the Owen Sound Attack while supporting a great charity, and enjoying a great meal. Sales of t-shirts, hats and Attack Honour Paws will also be available at Boston Pizza during the Celebrity Serve hours. Attack Honour Paws are decals made to be written on to honour someone lost to cancer, someone living with cancer, or to send a message to all cancer fighters. The Paws are being stuck on the floor around the Bayshore Arena complex for all to see and will remain on the concourse until the Pink in the Rink game.
The Owen Sound Attack’s Pink in the Rink game against the Windsor Spitfires is Sunday October 19th at 2 PM. Pink in the Rink is a hockey game dedicated to the Fight Against Breast Cancer with players sporting pink jerseys that are sold after the game in a live auction. There will also be a chance for three finalists to Shoot to Win and be the lucky winner of “BLING” from DC Taylor Jewellers during intermission. Enter your story of how cancer has touched your life to have a chance to Shoot to Win. Finalists will be invited to the Celebrity Serve dinner at Boston Pizza for a photo opportunity.
