The Meaford Public Library will host a gathering on Thursday, November 24 to celebrate the publication of Bognor Bill: A Grey County Maverick. Written by Ron Pegg, Bognor Bill is a biography of Bill Murdoch, the popular former MPP of Bruce‒Grey‒Owen Sound. The event starts at 6:30 p.m. in the Meaford Public Library reading room.
A local celebrity, Bill Murdoch is currently the host of Open Line, Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays on CFOS. He has had many other careers throughout his life, most notably as the MPP for Bruce‒Grey‒Owen Sound from 1990 to 2011. Copies of Bognor Bill will be available for purchase at the event and Ron Pegg and Bill Murdoch will be available for autographs.
