Dear Editor,
Having heard the results ff the Scotland referendum, and the amazing voter turnout of over 80 percent, I think we should explore having one on our ballot? (computer-phone?).
Let’s face it, the Sydenham-Meaford thing just isn’t working. Also, it’s a distinct possibility that voter participation may be very low amongst seniors-a large demographic.
Maybe the Municipality could jazz it up with a referendum. I guarantee a lot more people would make the effort to vote.
As usual, my comment and opinions are mainly to be taken with a grain of salt and pepper.
