This stunning photograph of the Aurora Borealis was captured by Sam Hynes, who was visiting Meaford for a family reunion last week.
The photo was taken at approximately 2:00 am on Wednesday August 3, from the beach at Memorial Park.
“We went out to take pictures of the Milky Way because it was so clear, we had no idea we would see this!” Hynes told The Independent.
