A Second Cup of Koffee House Reads

Staff

The Meaford Public Library is back with its second Koffee House Reads event for 2016. Author and retired OPP Sergeant Barry Ruhl will appear on May 31 at 2 pm at Tilly’s Bakery and Café at the Owen Sound Billy Bishop Regional Airport.

Ruhl was an Ontario provincial police officer for thirty years, and he will be discussing his book, Viable Suspect. In the book, Ruhl presents his theory that a single individual may be responsible for the unsolved murders of young women across Ontario.

“Our final writer for Koffee House Reads 2016 is romance writer Lynda Henry, who writes under the name Keanar Langford. Henry will appear on Tuesday, June 28 at 2 pm at The Barn Co-operative Network,” said organizers.

With Koffee House Reads, the Meaford Public Library introduces local writers to members of the community. Tickets are $5 per person and include a hot beverage and dessert at each venue. There are a limited number of tickets for each event. Stop by the library to get yours today.
