Multiple Break-ins Discovered on Rainbow Beach Drive

opp logo270On February 17, Grey County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) investigated a report of suspicious activity on Rainbow Beach Drive, north of Leith, in the Municipality of Meaford after several footprints were observed around the various, mostly seasonal or temporary residences, in the area.

The preliminary investigation revealed that a total of nine properties had been broken into sometime between 10:30 p.m. on February 16 and 7:30 a.m. on February 17 by at least two unknown suspects. 

Two vehicles had also been entered.  Property stolen included four televisions, a WII gaming console and some loose change.

Police continue to investigate and ask anyone with information which may assist police, to contact the OPP at 1-888310-1122.  Should you wish to remain anonymous, call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 (TIPS) or submit a secure web-tip at www.crimestoppersgb.ca, where you may be eligible to receive a cash reward of up to $2,000.
