Letter to the Editor
Dear Editor,
Would you please remind your readers that when they through garbage out the window, it is more than just littering and making our neighbourhood look like a slum. The critters that get into the things thrown out suffer because of it.
This morning I came a cross a cat stuck in a small bag chips had been in. He had tried to escape to no avail, and was slowly smothering. He did not have enough strength left to be afraid.
No animal should have to suffer like that just because some insensitive, callous lout is too lazy and indifferent to put the garbage in a proper receptacle.
