The Meaford Chamber of Commerce will soon host the second annual “Meaford Welcome” event at the Meaford Curling Club.
“All are welcome, newcomers to the area and the whole municipality. On September 12 from 11am to 2pm at the Meaford Curling Club, local groups, clubs and organizations will provide information on how to get involved in our wonderful community. Admission is free,” said the Chamber.
Current residents are asked to make sure that all new employees and new neighbours are informed of this event. In addition, all Meafordites, and individuals that make up our municipality, are invited to come out and support the newcomers. Food will be available from local Meaford Farmers’ Market Vendors.
“With over 30 organizations confirmed so far, everyone should be convinced that Meaford is not a sleepy little cluster of communities, but vibrant and active,” said the Chamber.

“Please join us after the Event for dinner presented by SMILE Animal Society and Meaford Farmers’ Market featuring locally grown produce. Dinner will be served at the Harbour Pavilion,” suggested the Chamber.
