The Meaford & St. Vincent Fall Fair is looking for contestants for the Junior Ambassador Contest which will be held this year at the Meaford & St. Vincent Community Center on Wednesday September 2.
Contestants must live in the Meaford & St. Vincent township area or be attending a Meaford school for the school year 2015/2016. Contestants must be 12 years of age by September 2015 and not over the age of 16 by September 2015. Both male and female students can enter.
You must have a speech ready for the night of the contest at least three minutes long, and no longer than five minutes. Topics can range from your favourite hobby or interests, what animals you are responsible for at your home to what you like most about your community or Fall Fair. The top three contestants will represent Meaford and the Fall Fair for the next year.
Get your application in early so sponsors know how many prizes to donate. Please pick-up and drop off your application at the courtesy desk at Bill’s Valu-mart in Meaford. Deadline is Friday August 7th.
