Another Successful Vacation Bible Camp

Staff

vbs 2015 225For the second year, Meaford’s Christ Church had a very successful Vacation Bible Camp with 25 children and 10 adults participating.

“The theme was God’s power working in us enabling us to be caring and active in our communities. In science the children made lava lamps, in crafts they made “I care” flower pots, and sharing banks, some other fun activities included acting out the bible stories, learning some great new songs, and dodge ball,” said organizers.

Why send your child to Vacation Bible Camp at a time when churches seem to be in decline?

“Our world more than ever needs to be aware of the force in the universe that draws people together in love, that is a reconciling force helping people to celebrate and respect diversity, and that continues to heal the rifts in our society even in a climate of hostility and mistrust. The bible teaches these important lessons. At Christ Church we are already starting to think about next year!” expressed camp organizers.
