OPPLogoGrey County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) is reminding residents that they can file low priority incidents online via an internet reporting system. 

Citizen Self Reporting was launched by the OPP on July 7, 2014 to improve efficiencies and expand service delivery to the public.

Police Seek Help Locating Male Driver of White Pickup Truck

Grey County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) are looking to speak with the driver of a white pick-up truck following a suspicious male reported to police on September 17, 2014.  Between 8:10 a.m. and 8:15 a.m. on September 17, 2014 an 11 year old was waiting for the school bus when the pick-up truck stopped and the male driver asked “are you waiting for the bus or coming with me?”  The child ignored the male driver and he drove off without any further comment.

Sykes Street Drug Bust Nets Cocaine, Ecstasy, Pot & Counterfeit Cash

The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Organized Crime Enforcement Bureau – Drug Enforcement Unit, with the assistance of West Region Emergency Response Team, West Region Canine, and Grey County OPP, executed a Controlled Drugs and Substances Act search warrant at a property on Sykes Street in Meaford on September 9.

New Canine Officer For Grey County OPP

OPPLogoGrey County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) has a new Canine Officer. Provincial Constable Dan Bailey has been a member of the OPP since 1998.  He began his career at the Haldimand-Norfolk OPP Detachment in Simcoe, Ontario.

In 2005, PC Bailey became a member of the OPP Crime Prevention and Investigation Unit in Fort Francis, near Thunder Bay, Ontario, as a Canine Officer.
