OPP Drug Warrant Executed on 7th Line

opp logo270As a result of an ongoing investigation, on July 20, 2018, the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Community Street Crime Unit Grey-Bruce (CSCU), with the assistance of the Huron-Perth CSCU, West Region Emergency Response Team (ERT), West Region Canine Unit and the Grey County OPP Crime Unit, executed a Controlled Drugs and Substances Act (CDSA) search warrant at a residence on the 7th Line in the Municipality of Meaford.

Prescription Medication Stolen From Purse

opp logo270On July 8, Grey County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) received a call from a citizen reporting a theft of prescription medication.

Between 1 p.m. and 4 p.m., the victim attended a function at Meaford Hall located on Nelson Street West in the Municipality of Meaford. Once back at home, she discovered that a pill bottle containing an undisclosed amount of prescription medication (Percocet) was missing from her purse.
