Puppies Believed to Have Been Stolen From Meaford Resident

stolenpuppiesGrey County OPP received a report on Friday April 25 of two puppies believed to have been stolen from a Boucher St. W. home in Meaford on Friday, April 25.

The 2 ½ month old, Rottweiler-Samoyed cross puppies, had been fastened to a large tree in the victim’s front yard by their leashes, which were black and blue respectively.  They were wearing turquoise and pink collars.

Tragically, the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) reported three deaths on OPP-patrolled roads over the Easter long weekend, in spite of the many responsible drivers who did their part to help police keep roads safe.

Intoxicated Man Causes Disturbance

On Tuesday, April 8, at approximately 8:19 p.m., Grey County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) was requested to assist Grey County Emergency Services (EMS) with an intoxicated male who had fallen and injured himself on Nelson Street West in Meaford.

Police say that the man was known to be aggressive.
