Grey County OPP responded to a complaint of several people causing a disturbance at the Stone Tree Apartment parking lot located at Highways 6 and 10 on Thursday evening (July 18).
Upon arrival, police found four “highly intoxicated people wandering between the apartments asking for alcohol and cigarettes.”
Police say that upon their arrival, three males returned to one of the apartment units, while a woman refused to vacate the area and was uncooperative with police. She was arrested for public intoxication, and was held at the Chatsworth OPP detachment until she was sober.
The 52 year old Meaford woman was issued a Provincial Offence Notice under the Liquor Licence Act.
