4-H Calf Club Report

4H270The St. Vincent 4-H Calf Club has formally started this 2016 year. Our first meeting was held on March 25.

All the members of the club had the chance to meet the three volunteer leaders, Natalie Mather, Tracy McNally, and Todd Campbell.

Growing a Second Harvest

SecondHarvestMeaford225Locally grown, unpicked apples are one example of food that would otherwise go to waste if it were not for the efforts of local Second Harvest volunteers who collect the produce for schools and food banks. 

Second Harvest programs link over-abundance with the local demand for accessible nutritious food for those in need.
