Dear Editor,

You would be doing a great public service if you could advise me, and other Meaford residents, how to stop the uninvited litter we experience.

Every week we have a plastic bag of flyers thrown in our drive. The flyers go straight into recycling and the plastic bag goes into the garbage.

We have never requested this stuff, and would like to know how to stop the nuisance.

The approx. half kg of paper means trees unnecessarily cut down and processed, and we don’t need more plastic bags to put in the garbage.

Let’s do our bit to save the planet!

I am sure other residents would like to know how to put a stop to this unwanted waste, while others who like the flyers can continue to receive them.
