Larry Miller, Member of Parliament for Bruce-Grey-Owen Sound, has been named as a member of the House of Commons Standing Committee on Public Safety and National Security.
The committee has a mandate to review the policies, programs, and expenditure plans of government departments and agencies responsible for public safety and national security, policing and law enforcement, corrections and conditional release of federal offenders, emergency management, crime prevention, and the protection of Canada’s borders.
“I am very pleased to be a member of the Standing Committee on Public Safety and National Security,” said Miller. “This committee has always done tremendous work. I look forward to meeting my fellow committee members and getting to work in the coming weeks.”
