On June 13, 2017 at approximately 7:26 p.m., Grey County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) investigated a collision between a skateboarder and a pick-up truck in the Municipality of Meaford.
On June 2, at approximately 11:41 p.m., Grey County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) investigated a single motor vehicle collision on Hwy. 26 near Starlight Lane in the Municipality of Meaford.
On November 4, 2016 and on January 17, 2017, Grey County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) investigated break-ins to cottages on Johnson Harbour Road in the Municipality of Meaford. There was evidence to suggest that the suspect(s) had stayed in the seasonal cottages for an extended period of time.
Grey County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) have arrested and charged three people in connection to three church break-ins that occurred in the Municipality of Meaford last September.
Sometime overnight on September 22 and early morning September 23, 2016, three churches in Meaford were broken into - Christ Anglican Church, Meaford United Church and First Baptist Church. Four laptop computers and cash were stolen.
